Vintage Womens 30s Small Medium Reunon Remade Feedsack Jacket
From the mind of an incredibly imaginative seamstress between the 1930s and 1940s; this jacket was originally constructed from old feedsack and glass cat eye buttons. It was found in an abandoned homestead in Northeast GA. Though the jacket was machine sewn, many of the seams were hand-stitched and re-stitched by the first owner. The shoulders were mended unevenly by the first owner but this isn't particularly apparent when wearing unless buttoned at the collar. The jacket has been rebuilt, especially in the sleeves, where period-appropriate feedsack lines the weaker areas. We have also heavily reconstructed the button placket and pockets, using the original patterns.
